Update: I sold the jeep, and traded it in for a Lexus! Info here.

1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Here's my baby. :-) It's a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Tan leather, full-time 4WD, full luxury package, and a V6. Great car, crappy mileage. Even without the V8. Oh well. I still like it a lot, and it is the current bearer of the RenGeek plates from my late, much-beloved Maxima.

The sound system is a work in progress, but it's finally progressing, thanks to the excellent work by the guys at Sounds Good Stereo in Woodland Hills, CA. I still use the four Kenwood 5.25" drivers that were in the doors when I bought the car, and the JBL factory tweeters on the dash. A boatload of DynoMat and some high-end replacements are scheduled for those as soon as finances allow, but meanwhile, I get nice sound due to my latest enhancements:

Blaupunkt San Jose MP41: Head Unit (AM/FM/CD player with MP3/WMA capabilities)
Rockford-Fosgate Power 600.5: 5 Channel, 600 Watt Amp with remote bass boost
JL Audio Sub with Stealthbox enclosure: 10" Subwoofer with fiberglass enclosure custom-designed to match the interior and take almost no cargo space.
